I am essentially only soul.
My body is the temporary housing of my soul for this one life.
In each life on earth, we animate a new material body to carry out our life plan for that life. Are we then white or colored? No, only our body has that particular skin color during this one life. Yet man on earth speaks of whites, blacks and people of color, as if this characterizes fellow man as a being. These are characterizations that only touch the appearance of the material body, but say nothing about the essential life in that body, about the soul, which thanks to this body can gain new experiences for its eternal evolution. According to Joseph Rulof, we do not have a soul, but “are” soul. All other names by which man categorizes his fellow man are only temporary aspects of that one life on earth. Our soul uses those temporary aspects to expand our reincarnated emotional life. Eventually, through our many lives, we gain all of humanity as experience in our feeling life. The foundation is universal love.
